Been enjoying Hidden History of the Human Race for some time and I finally gave this album a listen. Damn me for waiting too long to do it; I'd say it's just as good as their sophomore LP, but in a different way. No doubt it's clearly Blood Incantation, but you can see the evolution in sound between the two albums. A masterful work of atmospheric prog death doom that sits among the best of extreme metal. Absolutely incredible musicianship in a debut album. Buy this LP, support Blood Incantation.

This album takes me to the darkest places. The whole vibe and overall feel of the album is that of absolute dread, but also beauty. The overall mix of death metal, black metal and some jazz is perfect and sound is unique and fresh. Waiting in anticipation of album 2!
